Corby Spirit & Wine’s Longstanding Chairman McCarthy to Retire

Corby Spirit & Wine has begun the search for a new chair with the planned retirement of longstanding Chairman George McCarthy early next year.

The Canadian maker and distributor of spirits and imported wines said Wednesday that McCarthy will step down as chair and a director effective Feb. 7.

McCarthy joined Corby’s board in 1993 and became chair in 1999.
